Welcome to Canada's Transatlantic Long Haul Tour 2013

Flight rules: IFR

The maximum speed below 10,000 ft is 250 KIAS.

- A disconnection of 15 minutes is allowed (dinner, FS crash, etc.).

- The maximum cruising speed is Mach 0.90

- All legs must be flown online using a real weather source.

- You must file a proper IFR flight plan and contact Air Traffic Control when appropriate.

- Report take-off and landing times in UTC.

- Flights must be flown in real time (no acceleration allowed), no supersonic aircraft.

- This is an IFR tour, DCT or GPS routes are forbidden, use proper routes.

- Members not communicating via UNICOM (122.80) can be excluded from the tour.

The rules of the tour are available in the MODA Lite system. This system will provide you with the tour legs, and that is where you will be able to send your flight reports and get your tour award. Once you have completed this tour, you will receive the Division IFR Tour award.
