Virtual Airlines Flyin/Flyout at Toronto (CYYZ)

Event description

It is 1800z on the 21st of August.

Toronto Pearson Airport is fully staffed, waiting for you to fill up the sky and hurry the controllers. Join us and meet many other virtual airlines, many pilots and experience a crowded Toronto. Show us who of you is going to get the most pilots to Toronto.

The Canadian division invited all American and Canadian virtual airlines to join us over here. Of course all airlines from all over IVAO are also invited to show their skills.

Regardless if you are arriving after a long flight from Europe or if you are coming from the east side of Asian, bring us your wings to Toronto, you are more than welcome. Enjoy great Canadian ATC service and help us to make this evening unforgettable.

It's not just an event on IVAO, nor is it just a FlyIn or FlyOut.
It's also an advertisement for your virtual airline and maybe you can welcome many new members after that evening.

And even that is not all. Every pilot who flies a leg of one hour or more to and from Toronto will earn one point for the pilots event award.

Procedures for pilots and ATC

Controllers: If you want to subscribe for an ATC position please send an e-mail to ca-eac@ivao.aero with your wished position and you current ATC rating.

Important for foreign controllers: Canada has implemented the GCA program. That means, that foreign controllers need to do a training and a practical check by the Canada Training staff. For this, write your e-mail as fast as you can, so you can set up a training first. For more details about GCA, and if you are planning to control a FRA restricted position, please visit http://www.ivao.ca/atc/gca.html for more details.

For pilots/for virtual Airlines: If you want to participate with your airline, please send a mail to ca-eac@ivao.aero with the name of your airline and if you want to depart, arrive or both.
