On December 18th 2011 it's record day again on IVAO. Make sure to join us for the IVAO Crowded Skies 2011 event. The previous edition of Crowded Skies had more than 2,303 simultaneous connections at a point of time and over 9,600 flights during the entire event, which is a unique record.

We would like to inform you that we changed the Facility Ratings (FRA) for the following Canadian airports: CYUL, CYOW, CYQB, CYTO, CYVR and CYYZ. From now on you can staff Tower from the start (ATC Applicant) and Approach/Departure with an Advanced ATC Trainee rating. We hope this will motivate you to staff our airports.

It's with great pleasure that the Canadian division of IVAO would like to inform you about the recent staff changes. Carsten Hermann has been appointed Events Assitant Coordinator. He will help Dennis Kunz organizing events and tours for the division. Mathias Meyer has been appointed Training Coordinator and received the mission to create a new training department for our division. A few changes recently took place in the Membership Department. Alexandre Omann has been promoted to Membership Coordinator and Andres Van Goozen has joined the team as our new Membership Assistant Coordinator.
